M712 is the select-fire variant of the famous German C96 pistol. It was first made by a Spainish gunmaking firms in 1927 and 1928, then the German gunmaker began production of the Schnellfeuer (Fast Fire) from 1932 to 1936, small numbers were supplied to the German Wehrmacht during WWII and designated as M712. M712’s grip earned the gun the nickname“Broomhandle”in the English-speaking world because of its round wooden handle.

Le magasin affirme que la réplique standard tourne à 360fps en 0.2g au green gaz tandis que la version longue tournerait à 335fps dans les mêmes conditions. Ce qui est assez étonnant pour deux raisons :
– Canon plus long avec une dose de gaz à priori suffisamment importante pour éviter l’effet ventouse, doit avoir une puissance plus importante.
– Une vidéo du fabricant postée il y a peu montrait la réplique au test chrony avec des valeurs tournant autour de 138m/s, à priori en 0.20g, soit 452fps tout de même. Le raisonnement reste valable pour n’importe quel poids de bille > 0.20g : la puissance est nettement supérieure à celle annoncée par le magasin.
Donc pour résumer, sortie en Asie du modèle long du M712 fabriqué par WE. Se méfier de sa puissance qui risquerait d’interdire son utilisation dans à peu près toutes les associations.
